Horizontal Sanders and PolishersHorizontal sanders are the rugged tools you need to polish and sand all day without loss of performance. These tools have become a mainstay in foundries, shipyards, and fabrication shops all over the globe due to their extreme reliability in even the worst of conditions. Interchangeability of parts (cylinders, endplates, rotor vanes, bearings and many other parts) with other Top Cat tools cuts down on your spare parts inventory. These tools are available in 1.5HP and 2HP motor lines. All have the new straddle mounted planet design. Each planet gear has two large external bearings holding it in place. This increase in bearing capacity (6 times increase in load capacity!) keeps the gears in the right place for long life and huge torque.
